MEET DINDIN
Dindin is a handmade brown Caribbean doll, lovingly created in our studio in Rotterdam. She was born from a desire to share something positive with children: a sense of pride, culture and connection to their Caribbean heritage.
What began as a soft handmade doll grew into something much bigger. Dindin became the heart of a creative world filled with stories, music, colouring and learning. Through Dindin, we celebrate Caribbean culture and folklore in a playful and meaningful way.
Her message has always been simple and powerful: Black is beautiful. Dindin is made with love for children to play with, learn from and cherish — and for adults who recognise a little piece of home, history and heritage in her.
DINDIN COMES TO LIFE
THE ORIGINAL DINDIN
Dindin began as a handmade brown Caribbean doll, lovingly created in our studio in Rotterdam. Every doll is made by hand, giving each Dindin her own unique character.
But Dindin was created to be more than a doll. She carries a message of love, pride and representation: Black is beautiful. Through Dindin, we share a little piece of Caribbean culture and folklore with a new generation.
Over time, this little handmade doll inspired an entire world of stories, music, colouring and learning. What started at our worktable in Rotterdam became a character with a story of her own.
